Choosing a suitable place at home
You can choose a quiet room or the place where your dog or cat usually rests. If you prefer a garden, we will agree on an enclosed, quiet and sheltered place appropriate for the weather. There is no need to move an animal who struggles with mobility from their resting place; the advance call helps plan comfortable and safe access.
Coordinating a visit in Gedera
Please provide the exact address and access details, including parking, stairs, a lift or gate. Tell me beforehand about other animals at home or any difficulty approaching the pet. We can plan the arrival and farewell setting around the needs of the animal and family.
Gedera and the Shfela service area
Gedera is included in the central Israel, Sharon and Shfela service area, from Hadera in the north to Gedera and Ashdod in the south. The packages and prices are the same, with no travel supplement in Gedera.
What an at-home farewell visit involves
Before the visit, we discuss the medical condition, medication, breathing, mobility and whether care can be provided safely at home. Deep anaesthesia with full loss of consciousness precedes euthanasia, and the family has as much time as it needs without rushing.
Price and availability
Three packages offer the same veterinary care: Home farewell at ₪1,800, with the family arranging aftercare; Complete farewell at ₪2,600, including collection and communal burial; or Farewell and remembrance at ₪4,800, including collection and a choice of private burial in an individual gravesite or individual cremation with an urn and return of the ashes (usually within three days for cremation). All prices include VAT.
No travel supplement applies in central Israel, the Sharon or the Shfela, from Hadera in the north to Gedera and Ashdod in the south. Extended travel, including the Haifa, Tiberias and Be’er Sheva areas, adds ₪400, confirmed by town in advance. Outside Sunday–Thursday 09:00–18:00, on weekends or holidays: one ₪400 supplement even when conditions overlap. Special preparation for severe aggression that prevents safe approach without advance medication and safety planning: ₪900. Fear, barking or growling alone do not incur this supplement; routine sedation is included. Each supplement applies once per visit; different supplements can combine. All include VAT and are subject to availability and an agreed final total.
